Learn here & fly anywhere

Training at 5000' ASL is great for perfecting your flying skills for all lower and higher launching elevations. Learning here prepares you for high altitude flying, making sea level flying a breeze.  The added bonus is breathtaking scenery.

According to the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), we enjoy the most sunny days, very low humidity and one of the lowest wind averages of any major city in the USA.

 DIRECTIONS TO THE FIELD

Take I-40 West to Exit 140.
The exit curves to the frontage road, Old Route 66, turn left (Westbound).
A few hundred yards down turn right into the Exxon station.
Go North with the station on your left.
Go through the gate and make sure to close it behind you.
Follow the low power lines North.
After crossing under higher power lines, turn left following the lower power lines.
That road, along with the power lines, leads to the Flight Park.

Albuquerque residents find themselves surrounded by mountains, volcanoes, Indian Pueblos, Spanish villages, all packaged in a high desert environment.  The famous Rio Grande River flows through the middle of the state and is the life blood of cultures past, present, and future.

Jerry Daniele, a member of our team and an Archaeologist, has wandered the back country of New Mexico for nearly 12 years and he is always amazed at the vast regions that are unexplored.  That's also why he became interested in Paramotoring.  Low level flying in the powered Paraglider has opened up a whole new dimension for the explorer.
