What happens if the engine stops?
|
Since you can steer the glider and it has a minimum of 6
to 1 glide ratio you just float down to the ground. A
typical landing is like stepping off the bottom step of a flight
of stairs.

Do I need a license to fly
a Paramotor?
|
No license is required in the USA but if you
fly in Canada, Europe and some other parts of the world you need one.

How much does it cost?
|
Your complete package including training will
cost between $6,700 - $10,000 depending on which motor and glider you choose
and what “extras” you feel you need.

What are my running costs?
|
Gas at one gallon an hour plus maintenance
costs which are minimal.

Can I fly from anywhere?
|
Any piece of land that is open enough, clear
of obstacles and you have permission to use.

Do I have to be very fit to fly?
|
If you can run 50 feet with an average of 50
lbs on your back without getting out of breath then
you can fly a paramotor.

Is there an age limit?
|
No, we have trained people from ages 12 to 65 to
learn to fly, including celebrities.

Do I have to buy my own equipment to learn to
fly?
|
No, we have excellent, modern equipment here
at the school, although it is best to train on your own equipment if you have
it.

How long does it take to learn to fly a Paramotor?
|
Our Solo course is 3 days maximum and our
Advanced Course is about 5 days.

Where can I stay while I am training?
|
There are several hotels no more than 5
minutes away. You may park your RV at our site.

How long can I stay up in the air?
|
A tank of gas is about 1 - 2 gallons depending
on model and you can stay up for about 2-3 hours on a tank. Catch some
thermals and you can stay up for even longer.

Can I take this on a plane?
|
Yes, you can! It breaks down into four parts for
easy transportation.

I'm over 200 lbs. Can I fly?
|
Yes! We've trained pilots weighing up to 330
lbs.
