Activities

 

 

Join us for a relaxed fly-in with the emphasis on flying and fun, New Mexican style. Make it a family vacation. 

Plan to extend your stay and join us for a camping, PPG Safari to the Malpais (Bad Lands) one hour's driving distance West of the flight park on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. RV or tent camping equipment, transportation and food MUST be supplied by individual participants. Join us for just one or all three days of this very special opportunity to view some truly spectacular scenery. No additional fees will be charged for Fly-In registered participants but there will be a charge for great outdoor homemade meals by Michelle and CC!!

Thursday Night - The local PPG club (The Route 66 Flyers) will provide pizza and homemade ice cream, FREE!

 

Friday is Tortilla Night- Tortilla burgers, tortilla dogs, and quesadillas with chips and a drink for $5.00 per person. Entertainment by our own famous Pilot Band.

Saturday Morning - Breakfast burritos made to order $4.00

BBQ Saturday Night - Pilots and their families will feast on New Mexican Bar-B-Q on site, while they relive the day’s adventures. The cost of the barbeque is covered by the pilot registration fee. Others may enjoy the food and hospitality for $7.50 per adult and $5.00 for children. Music will be provided by a live country western band.

New Mexico Visitors' Guide - Access the web site below to arrange to have the official,  New Mexico Visitor's Guide  mailed to you. Please allow several weeks for delivery. Can't wait to see what's in store!! Visit the Tourist Bureau's web page: http://www.newmexico.org/

For those interested in Casino Gaming, the Route 66 Casino is one mile South of the field.

There are showers, laundry and 24 hour restaurants and a gas station at the resort.

Allow the high desert landscape of New Mexico to enchant you with its stark contrasts of mountains and desert.  Follow the path of the Rio Puerco and marvel at the sites on the way to Wild Horse Mesa.  There are literally thousands of acres of New Mexico scenery to enjoy!
